• Account information: email address and password (stored via Supabase Auth).
• Violation details: toll notice numbers, license plate numbers, violation dates, amounts owed, and any evidence or photos you upload.
• Payment information: billing details are processed and stored by Stripe. TollFighter does not store full card numbers.
• Communications: messages or feedback you send to our support team.

We also collect limited technical data automatically, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the TollFighter service.
• Generate and submit dispute letters on your behalf.
• Process payments and collect success fees.
• Send transactional emails (e.g., dispute filed, response received, deadline reminders).
• Monitor your vehicle registration for new toll violations (Fighter+Monitor subscribers only).
• Respond to support inquiries.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only as necessary to operate the Service:

• Toll authorities: Your dispute letter and supporting information are submitted to the relevant toll authority as part of the dispute process.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Supabase: Authentication and database hosting. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery. See resend.com/privacy.
• Lob: Physical mail delivery for USPS-mailed dispute letters. See lob.com/privacy.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of TollFighter or others.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and violation records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and collect outstanding fees. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@tollfighter.com. We may retain certain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may prevent you from logging in.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Opt out of marketing communications (transactional emails cannot be opted out while your account is active).
